On Tuesday, May 20 I took Olivia and Elijah to Tempe Beach Park. It is such a cute place and if you go during the week it's not too busy. They have two water slides, two waterfalls, 3 water gun things, little dolphins to ride on, and just a bunch of places to splash. The forecast was for the temperature to reach 110. We went about 10:30 and it was already really HOT! Channel 12 news was actually there interviewing people on how they are managing to keep cool. We were actually interviewed. I think it was on the noon news report, but we were still out and about, so we missed it.
Anyway, the kids really liked it. Olivia hasn't been since last summer so she didn't remember it. She just ran all over the park splashing in the water. Elijah got carried around and he even sat in the water for a couple of minutes. I was surprised he liked it, because he HATES baths. He screams every time.

Sounds like fun! For these reasons I wished we lived a little closer to town... There is nothing like this out here! What a good idea! We need to get together some time! We missed you guys at the reunion! You have such a cute family!
