Unexpected Trip to the Beach

Last Sunday we were out driving around town, and when we saw the ocean, Justin just couldn't pass by it without stopping. It was cold, in the high 50's, and we didn't stay long, but we took some cute pictures.

Brotherly Bonding Time

Whenever Chandler gets out his Nerf guns, Elijah wants one too. The other day they had a good time running around and shooting each other. I'm still finding little orange Nerf darts everywhere!

Yard Work

In our yard we have a giant tree that drops is always dropping leaves on the yard. I guess fall actually takes place in winter here. I took some pictures when we were all out in the yard doing yard work. Chandler, Madelyn, and Justin did all the raking of the leaves into a pile, while Eli and Libby did their best to spread them all back out!

Hiding Place

Elijah is constantly finding new ways to make messes for me to clean up. Here' s a picture of him emptying the Q-Tips onto the bathroom floor. You can't see it from the picture, but he had to move all the towels out of the way so he would have a place to sit in the cabinet!

New Soccer Club

Since we moved to California, we had to find a new soccer club for Chandler. After doing tons of research, I decided that Real So Cal fit our criteria. It needed to be relatively close by, have an excellent technical training program, have a US Soccer Youth Academy (gotta think about the future), have happy kids on the team, and Chandler had to like the coaches. I have to drive about 15 miles one way to practices 3 times a week, but I think it's worth it. Chandler is really happy and he's learning a lot. I can't believe how much he's already improved.
